London Investitur 2018
Die jährliche Investitur des Großpriorat Großbritannien, Malta und Gibraltar fand am 21. April 2018 in London statt. Bei Kaiser… pardon, Königinnenwetter verbrachte die Deligation des GP Österreich einige herlliche Tage in London.
Am Freitag abend war der Sankt Stanislaus Orden zu einer ganz besonderen Zerremonie eingeladen. Wir besuchten den Tower of London und sahen dort die am längsten durchgängige militärische Zerrremonie der Welt. Die Schließung des Towers. Diese Tradition wurde seit ihrer Gründung vor rund 700 Jahren immer pünktlich um 21:30 Uhr durchgeführt. Bis auf einmal klappte diese Zerreomonie immer. Im zweiten Weltkrieg gab es an einem Abend einmal eine verspätung von sieben Minuten. Dies würde dem König gemeldet der nur meinte, dies sei kein Problem aber es sollte nicht mehr vorkommen.
Am Samstag, dem Gebrutstag der Queen, trafen sich alle anwesenden Mitlgieder in der Kirche zu St. Anselm in London. Unser Großmeister H.E. Waldemar Wilk gab sein ok zur Aufnahme der Postulanten. Auch das GP Österreich nahm drei neue Mitglieder in unsere Reihen auf. Wir begrüßen Chev. OStWm Harald Hauk, Dame Susanne Mende und Chev. OStWm Robert Spevak herzlichst im Orden. Nach einem Gottesdienst wurden die Postulanten ( Harald Hauk, Susanne Mende, Robert Spevak, Hazle Taylor, David Smith, Paul Robinson, Roger Saunders) in einem feierlichen Akt in den Orden aufgenommen. Chev. Daniel Opila wurde zum Commander of Hampshire ernannt.
Am Abend gingen die Feierlichkeiten dann beim Dinner im Imperial Hotel weiter. Nach diversen Ansprachen und Toast und der Überreichung von Auszeichnungen, ließen wir den Tag mit Speis und Trank ausklingen.
Wir bedanken und bei allen Mitgliedern und Teilnehmern für die tollen Tage in London und freuen uns schon jetzt auf die nächste Reise.
The Annual Investiture of the Grand Priory of Great Britain, Malta and Gibraltar was held in London on 21st of April at the Church of St. Anselm and St. Caecilia by kind permission of HSH the 10th Grand Master Count Waldemar Wilk, GCCStS. All postulants were attending vigil mass lead by Father David Barnes, Parish Priest and pried for St Stanislas and The Order.
On Friday evening, the Dames and Knights of The St Stanislas Order were invited to a very special ceremony. They visited The Tower of London and participated in the historical military Ceremony of The Keys, the centuries-old tradition held in The Tower. The formal locking and unlocking of the Tower gates started in the mid 1300s, on the orders of a furious Edward III. The King turned up unannounced at the Tower one night in December 1340 and walked straight in, unchallenged! This tradition has been carried out on time at 21:30 since it was founded until nowadays and the procedure has not changed since. In the World War second there was a delay of seven minutes in one evening. This was reported to the king, who stated: ‘My only point is that this is not a problem but it should not happen again’ and it never happened again.
On Saturday, the Dames and The Knights of The Order of St. Stanislas were present at the church. Our Grandmaster H.E. Waldemar Wilk gave his consent to the opening of the Investiture ceremony. The Austrian Grand Prior also invested three new members into its ranks. We welcome Mr. Harald Hauk, Mrs Susanne Mende and Mr Robert Spevak in the Austrian Order. The Grand Priory of The Great Britain welcomed Hazle Taylor, David Smith, Paul Robinson, Roger Saunders in The Order and a Chevalier Daniel Opila was appointed as a Commander of newly created Hampshire Commandery. The Grand Prior of the Great Britain, Malta and Gibraltar made announcement of his new appointed titles and functions in the Order.
In the evening all Dames and Knights with their guests were enjoying Gala Dinner at the Royal National Hotel and also charity collection took place.The next Investiture will take place in Poland, Krakow on 12th May and in Malta on 20th October, all Dames, Knights and their guests are welcomed!!!
Tegoroczna inwestytura Wielkiego Przeoratu Wielkiej Brytanii, Malty i Gibraltaru odbyla sie w Londynie, 21 kwietnia w kosciele Sw. Anzelma i Sw. Cecylii za przyzwoleniem 10 Wielkiego Mistrza Zakonu Swietego Stanislawa, Hrabiego Waldemara Wilka, GCCStS. Wszyscy postulanci wzieli udzial w mszy swietej modlac sie za zakon Sw. Stanislawa. Msze celebrowal Proboszcz Parafii, ksiadz David Barnes.
W piatkowy wieczor Damy i Rycerze Zakonu Sw. Stanislawa zostali zaproszeni do udzialu w specjalnej ceremonii. Odwiedzili The Tower of London i wzieli udzial w historycznej ceremonii militarnej zwanej ‚Ceremonia Kluczy‘. Jest to znana od wiekow ceremonia, ktora odbywa sie kazdego wieczoru na terenie wiezy. Oficjalne zamykanie i otwieranie The Tower of London, ktora nadal jest obiektem militarnym, zainaugorowane zostalo w polowie XIII wieku na rozkaz krola Edwarda III. Pewnego grudniowego wieczoru w 1340 roku, krol pojawil sie niezapowiedziany i zdolal dostac sie do wnetrza wiezy nie zatrzymany przez zadnego ze straznikow. Spowodowac moglo ogromne zagrozenie ze strony wroga. Krol wprowadzil obowiazek zamykania The Tower of London kazdego wieczoru. Ceremonia zamykania rozpoczyna sie o 21.30. Tradycja ta zostala wprowadzoina przez krola I trwa po dzis dzien w nie zmienionej formie. Podczas II wojny swiatowej pewnego wieczoru ceremonia zostala opozniona o 7 minut. Kiedy zostalo to zaraportowane krolowi, ten odpowiedzial: ‚Mysle, ze to nie jest wielki problem ale nie powinien zdarzyc sie ani razu wiecej‘ i zgodnie z zyczeniem krola nigdy wiecej nie opozniono ceremonii.
W sobote, Damy i Rycerze Zakonu Swietego Stanislawa stawili sie w kosciele na mszy swietej powiazanej z inwestytura. Wielki Mistrz Waldemar Wilk uroczyscie otworzyl ceremonie mianowania nowych czlonkow Zakonu. Wielki Przeor Austrii rowniez inicjowal trzech nowych czlonkow Austriackiego Przeoratu. Wszyscy przyjeli z radoscia Haralda Hauka, Susanne Mende i Roberta Spevaka w szeregi Austriackiego Zakonu. Wielki Przeor Wielkiej Brytanii, Malty i Gibraltaru inicjowal Hazel Taylor, Davida Smitha, Paula Robinsona i Rogera Saundersa na czlonkow Zakonu a Kawaler Daniel Opila zostal nominowany do rangi Komandora nowo utworzonej Komandrii Hampshire w Wielkiej Brytanii. Zostaly rowniez ogloszone pozostale nominacje wsrod Dam i Rycerzy Zakonu Wielkiej Brytanii, Malty I Gibraltaru oraz Zakonu Austrii.
Sobotnim wieczorem wszystkie Damy i Rycerze wzieli udzial w uroczystej kolacjii, ktora miala miejsce w Krolewskim Narodowym Hotelu w Londynie. Po kolacji odbyla sie zbiorka pieniedzy na statutowa dzialalnosc charytatywna Zakonu.
Nastepna inwestytura czlonkow Zakonu Swietego Stanislawa bedzie miala miejsce w Krakowie w dniu 12 maja, a po niej kolejna inwestytura bedzie zorganizowana na Malcie, w dniu 20 pazdzienika. Wszystkie Damy i Rycerze sa serdecznie zaproszeni do wziecia udzialu!!!
